Mill-Turn Support, IMSpost Integration EnhancedHAVERHILL, MA. . September 5, 2008 . IMS Software, the pioneering
developer of advanced NC postprocessing, verification and simulation
solutions will introduce IMSverify 2009 at IMTS (booth B-7082) in
Chicago next week. Among numerous new features IMSverify 2009 adds enhanced support for
mill-turn simulation and verification. Multiple spindle, multiple
turret machines including those with contouring B-axis capability are
supported, including simultaneous operation on multiple channels with
full synchronization. The controller emulation library includes updated Okuma and Fanuc
controller definitions, including support for dynamic compensations
(G54.2). In addition, support for 3rd party libraries has been added .
allowing software developed by others to be easily integrated for
specific emulation functions, optimization, data management, etc. In addition, tighter integration with IMSpost provides a single solution
for NC postprocessing, solid-based NC verification (material removal),
and full machine simulation with collision detection . a combination
unrivaled in the marketplace today. IMS will demonstrate IMSverify 2009, along with IMSpost and IMSce for
CATIA V5 at IMTS in Chicago, from September 8-13. IMS will be located
in the North Hall, booth B-7082.
